This year, we have decided to expand our Bear Hugs for the Holidays® campaign.  In past years, our Bear Hugs for the Holidays® campaign distributed teddy bears to over 20,000 children and adults who were hospitalized over the holiday season regardless of their financial means.

For this holiday season, we will be working with area hospitals and community agencies to share holiday gifts with those (both young and old) that are economically disadvantaged.  In addition to hospitalized individuals, the program is now extended to all in need.

We welcome toys, children’s books, and gift cards from stores such as Target, Old Navy, Gap, Kohl’s, etc. All items donated should be new and unwrapped.  If you prefer to have us do the shopping for you, we will purchase a gift on your behalf (address listed below).  Please deliver your new and unwrapped gift to:

Bears are of course, still welcome. However, bears should not be dropped off at North Jersey Media Group, but rather at a participating hospital.  If you are interested in donating bears or having your own bear drive, please contact the Foundation office at 973-569-7683 or see below for a list of participating hospitals.

Cash donations are also needed to fund holiday parties for at-risk children who are living in residential facilities or in low-income housing facilities. Your support will make a big difference in the lives of families and children in need.
